After going airsoft 4 times, it got me thinking. I feel like im carrying more than i need. and its really cluttered load out.

I trying to revise my kit to make it more lighter and easier, maybe cheaper?

I was thinking :

Kahki Cap

Glasses (either black or clear with contacts that im getting)

Black tactical fleece

Either a Tan chest rig / Tan Plate carrier system.

A Tan duty belt with water pouch and a pouch for BB's.

Tan / Tri desert thousers Or maybe DPM woodland.

And something Long range but CQB. (M4 springs to mind! ) and i really enjoyed the 'sniping' route me and hazeldine took at urban but we did plenty of CQB aswell)

Maybe a GBB pistol as they are F(&^*** sexy or a MP5K on a 1 point as i really loved that as well. (not both well ... maybe)

that's it, simple and it looks cool (dunno whether you saw some guy at urban wearing near enough the same load out)

Its all i need aswell which is nice, also im thinking of purchasing some midcaps.

So, post you loadouts or whatever.

I would say that sounds ok but I thought you were going for a 'force recon' setup which tbh you have described perfectly apart from the bdu's which you could swap for a set of olive bdu's or an olive flight suit.

Anyway my loadout at present:

Woodland DPM's

Black Chest Rig

Black Hydration Pack

Black Drop Leg Holster

Black Hatch Knee Pads

Black PASGT Helmet/DPM Boonie

M14 Socom on a 2-point sling

MP5k on a 1-point sling

GBB M1911

OR

DPM Ghillie

L96 Ghillied Up

MP5k on 1-point sling

My next plan is to do a 'Delta Force look' from BlackHawk Down, so I will need:

Tri-colour BDU's

Pro-tec Helmet

PT Bodyarmour

Alice Webbing

Blackhawk Chest Pouch .223

and something else I can't remember

Nutster

Yeah sounds alright. From now on I'll be wearing;

Urban Camo Body

Urban Camo Cap

Black Balaclava with Bolle Goggles

MP5A4 on a 3-point sling

My set-up at the current is:

Digital Urban

Viper LA Assault Vest - Woodland

Viper Drop Leg Dump Puch - OD

Viper Belt - OD

OD Cap

Bolle Contour Safety Glasses - Smoke

JG Steyr AUG A1 - Should be on a 2-point but the sling mount fell off..

ACM OD Gloves\Blackhawk SOLAG Gloves - Black

I want to revise the kit to:

Digi Urban

Black Chest Rig or RRV w/ MLCS Hydration Pack (Black)

OD Cap/Black Cap

Bolle Contour Safety Glasses - Smoke

Blackhawk SOLAG Gloves - Black

TM FAMAS F1 - 2-Point Sling

KSC USP .45/P8 - Chrome slide in a drop leg holster (Black)

 i don't understand what you mean 'DPMs' are what i call the british version of bdu's

nutster

BDU is Battle Dress Uniform, its not a set colour

DPM is the pattern of BDU the British forces use, woodland or desert, hope that clears it up for you :)

At the moment: (not going for a look but if you had to describe it i look like a chechnyan fighter!)

Standard Combat Assault boots

OG Lightweights

Flecktarn Jacket (courtesy of a drunk bundeswehr squaddie!)

Balaclava rolled up into a cap

Cheap Highlander Chest Rig

'58 Pat Webbing belt with 58 holster

(Soon to be made) Home made pistol mag pouch

Issued NI Patrol Pack

Weapons soon to be purchased:

CA Sportline M15thingy + 2 Hicaps and 4 Midcaps

Marui M1911 + 3 mags

Cheap and functional :D

Either a Tan chest rig / Tan Plate carrier system.
Only a newguy to airsoft but here's my two pennies :)

I would opt for the chest rig, it's cheaper and more practical. Plate carriers are heavy, cumbersome and dare I add....expensive however if it's the modularity you are after then there are some good MOLLE Assault vests out there that offer the modularity without the wait and expense.

Besides, whatcha want a plate carrier for anyway? ;)

that was in 2008 went for the chest rig for that very reason but plate carriers just look badass

Winter:

Hiking boots - waterproof and well worn in

Boot socks - nice nd fluffy, super warm :D

S95 (brit DPM) trousers with another pair of combats underneath

olive drab Tshirt - my general 'ruin it if i need to airsofting one'

Black fleece - nice nd warm

black WINTER gloves - hands need to be warm, I have very adverse affects from the cold

Viper South African Vest

camo Buff to keep hair out of face (worn bandana style)

DPM Boonie - to look cool... as well as being frackin freezing

Summer:

Hiking boots - waterproof and well worn in

Boot socks - nice nd fluffy, super warm :D

S95 (brit DPM) trousers

olive drab Tshirt - my general 'ruin it if i need to airsofting one'

DPM shirt

Viper South African Vest

camo Buff to keep hair out of face (worn bandana style)

DPM Boonie - to look cool.

Notice the difference? Swap the fleece for a thin dpm shirt in summer and remove the gloves and second pair of trousers

How about the socks? you wear think warm fluffly socks in the summer? lol

I have to admit plate carriers as opposed to OPSREY and EBA do look more ally. But cant be dealing with the hassle not to mention the cost. As for socks a nice set of issue black socks are good all year round, I still use mine for hiking and especially now the snow has started.

Yes I do, hiking socks, stop blisters forming, keep boots the right tightness on my feet.

a decent pair of boots and socks can have huge impact on your combat effectiveness (or ability to hike long distance)

I just wear a thin and a think pair over the top of each other works just fine and if dosnt get to hot :)

Hi guys i only play CBQ but as i've now been playing at my site for coming upto 4 years i seem to know what the diameters are of the corridors and rooms so i know how much gear i can take with me (to a certain extent :) ).

I have a few loadouts firstly my PMC/contacter loadout

Black web-tex Soft Shell jacket,

Tan BDU trousers

Warrior Assault System Plate Carrier in Coyote Brown

Tan baseball cap

Tan belt- equiped with holster and dump pouch

Tan Oakley gloves with carbon fibre nuckle protectors

british issue desert boots

i use a M4 CQB with silencer/ MP5A4 lighted forgrip all on a 1 point bungee sling

and a TM custom 1911.

I also have a custom loadout which is

Desert Tiger stripe bdu's

WAS plate carrier in tan

tan baseball cap

tan belt equip with same as above

and i use my M4 and 1911 with this loadout.

I also have a Police assault team loadout:

Ballistic police helmet

black assualt vest (was only a tenner but looks alright)

black belt with again pistol holster and dump pouch equiped to it

black 5.11 boots

black one hole balaclava

Bolle goggles on helmet

and black flight gloves.

and i use my MP5A4 with this loadout on a one point sling and my 1911

For my eye protection i use ESS ballistic glasses that UK and US forces use tey are easy to get hold off and only about £20 a pair and they ave 3 changable lenses(clear, yellow tinit and black tint)

if you have any questions about where i got any of my gear from just ask and i may even have some older gear up for sale soon which is all in really good nick and cheap aswell :)

Thanks Keenan
