So I have just ordered a Pink Combat Machine from Zero One, because YOLO and Airsoft is meant to be fun and not take itself too seriously. and REAL MEN have pink weaponry!

For a moment there I wondered what you were on about Del, I mean I knew I hadn't written anything serious or deliberately offensive. Dave has it right - it was just one of those throw away comments. Still, now that we're there, it genuinely is my opinion that people carrying femme fatales in the field do look right cocks, which is as relevant to the subject as your opinion that carrying one is about having a good time and not taking airsoft seriously.

Maybe I do take it too seriously. I don't feel that I do, I mean I have a laugh, I've been known to dress up like a right cock myself - in a stripy telnyashka and OD tutu over OD long johns... yeah, a proper bell end! Would I mind anyone saying I looked a right cock? Not at all. If I had spent a fortune on the outfit, would I have minded anyone pointing out that it's a lot of money to spend to end up looking a cock? Again, not at all - as it was it cost me about a tenner, so IMO was money well spent. What you are proposing only makes sense to me if I had say 20-25 times the disposable income I do have...

 
I Apologize to you Ian, if I have mis-understood you're previous comment, I only wish to have fun and enjoy Airsoft to the utmost of my ability, even if it means larking around with a Pink Femme Fatale, or pink camo or even a Tu-Tu (seen it before skirmishing). I take Airsoft as a much loved enjoyed hobby with my friends, to have a laugh and a giggle, play hard but fun. So you're comment was fair, I just mis-interpreted it for something else.

nah, it requires a fair amount of manliness to carry pink stuff*... well, lack of it in some cases. but ya know what I mean

got fairly pissed off when I was whittling with my pink izula and someone asked me if I wanted a better knife (!!!), thinking it was plastic.of course I would not have chosen that colour but got it brand new for half retail price:)
