Photos from the field

Thats your best bet. Just be carefull as nothing gives away your position like soneone in a hi-vis vest standing near you pointing a camera at you. ;-)

oooooh trigger finger!

Also i would advise adjusting the helmet so it fits correctly.

you both look very happy so as long as fun was had..............happy days!

that was a year a go and the helmet fitted fine I just did that to get the goggles off

I dont think my site has anything like that. I will give a camera to the marshalls and ask them to take pictures :)
If you still want to come and check Skirmish out, then they almost always have a photographer on site. Photos get posted to their Facebook page at the end of every day. Bit further for you to drive but the site's great.

In all likelihood me and Ian_Gere will be there too, so we can have a mini AF-UK team :P

Ed I'd just sit and shoot you every now and then when we're winning so you think their's a sniper or something kicking about someplace REAL Sneaky...

Lol Craig! Yeah iAcorn, pm me if you're planning to come visit. Perhaps you, Ed, and I can contrive to look cool in an action pic together   as opposed to that crouching run which when captured in profile without motion blur looks like you've just been unexpectedly hit with the shits...

I will probably do some touring of other sites when my fitness increases (as you could tell from my video, I get out of breath easy). I would love to come up sooner though but its a 2 hour drive (at least) and I dont do very well getting up early in the mornings. Seriously it almost kills me as I dont get a lot of sleep most of the time. But it shall happen one day! :)

I think I'd be able to tell it was you, Craig. You nob lol.

Definitely need to find a better place for my pistol...

And then this one was taken back last year at some point, with my old rig, but I always thought it looked pretty cool:

Looking good, Ed. Does your holster have a swivel/lock attachment? If so you could try putting it just left of your belt buckle at 30°-ish down from horizontal, in a cross draw position. I think that when you let go of your L85's pistol grip with your right hand it will have a tendency to fall, until caught by your sling obvy, in a way that would slightly impede the pistol cross-draw action but, if you simultaneously pull the rifle against you with your left hand, the butt shouldn't connect with your right forearm, maybe just your biceps, which wouldn't knock your drawing action off target, away from your Sig... maybe...

I saw someone post a photo somewhere on here of a molle belt with a serpa on it that's mount sort of hung lower by a few inches, so I think I'll look into that.

Probably forgo using the Sig for the time being, might pick up a Glock with the above mentioned holster, saves me having two holsters for the same gun.

Hang on...
You'll buy a new pistol to go with a new holster, which you need because your current rig makes drawing from your current holster difficult... right?

What will you do with the Sig which will only fit in the holster which doesn't work with your Osprey?

Use it with my sniper once I get it, or donate it to my brother for when he eventually gets an L85 or LSW, 'cos he'll likely be using my old rig too, which it works fine with.

Ah, it's just an excuse to buy a new pistol then... good-oh!

The list of stuff I want is getting almost too long for me to even remember everything that's on it lol.

I managed to get some desert boots for only £10 on eBay though. They're Grade 2, but hopefully they'll not be that bad.

I've just paid £42 inc P&P for a pair of new Regatta boots on fleabay to replace my Peter Storms which are my standard footwear, but I doubt they'll be making an appearance at aiorsoft for a couple of years and then, only at indoor CQB...

£10 for desert boots is a great price though. So long as the interiors are comfy to wear, for that price anything even half decent about the exteriors is a major good deal! What make, Lowa?

I can't remember if I'm honest, but the fact they're marked as "Grade 2" means that they must have been military issue by definition, so I'm not too fussed.

Edit:

They're Desert Lowa Elites - Suit me perfectly B)
