this is a question more for the guys who where out there or anyone who knows them.

what was the "standard" or minimum mag load for an infantryman to carry on a patrol

between 6-8  mags loaded plus spare ammo carried.

though this depended on your roll and personal preference, some people carried more, some less.

Is there a specific regiment or battlefield role you are looking to do?

Also what platform are you using? (SA80, L119, minimi, etc)

using the l85 was thinking just a normal infantryman so one of the rifle regiments.
