Hello people ,
After watching a few sniper vids on YouTube I’m totally hooked in the Airsoft hobby again , I enjoyed the hobby when I was a young boy immensely when they were available as kits , my first ever was a TM colt 45 then a TM python
then my dad went to Africa to work for a few months and asked me what I would like as a gift for him being away for so long I asked for a spear a shield lol
he obviously found it hard to find one or maybe even forgot completely and instead brought me an M16 with Grenade launcher and my brother a ak47 both were kits and we set about building them.
they didn’t last long unfortunately being a young lad the bbs were lost over time and the guns were mistreated as you do as an unknowing child and there probably in some landfill now but I have always had a massive interest in militaria and would oftern drool over the BB guns in the model shop I would often frequent,..
the orange tips always put me off though and the 2 tones I found positively ridiculous .
i was on holiday in France some 4 yrs ago and stumbled across the dan Wesson 8” and literally bought it instantly , since then
I found myself perusing the online shops , to many to list , but after quite a bit of online temptation and discovering a site reasonably close to me Iv pulled the plug ,
settled for a Cyma CM068.B It shoots not too bad but Iv already ordered a Prometheus inner barrel and a replacement spring and also a chrono just to know what it’s actually shooting and what improvements Iv made regarding the upgrades .
Iv kitted myself out with some cool BDU
some very comfortable footwear
a helmet which is regrettably a bit small but doesn’t look too bad ,
sorry this was meant to be a short introduction but has somehow become more of a biography .
looking forward to speaking a talking about our guns and meeting lots of similar minded people at the sites
