I've done the one where you take the lid off, drop the lid by accident, move cover and go to light the pyro.. only to realise you need the lid to light itThere's the classic strike a pyro and throw it trick only to have it bounce off a nearby tree and fly back towards you. Lots of running away and screaming ensues! (I have to confess I have done this myself at least once).
I've only been to the mall once now but the story amused myself and a few friendsseeing someone sprint full pelt into what they thought was an unlocked door turns out it wasnt.
another one for anyone who has heard to safety brief at F&O The Mall will remember the story about a players reflection![]()
Guilty as charged...There's the classic strike a pyro and throw it trick only to have it bounce off a nearby tree and fly back towards you. Lots of running away and screaming ensues! (I have to confess I have done this myself at least once).
i stripped a m4 down in a nissan micra at the 5 man,and it worked again ha haFirst time I ever used a smoke. I forgot several things:
1)I was throwing it up a hill
2)I was throwing it into the wind
3)There were trees in the general area
4)I have such terrible throwing skill you'd think I was deliberately throwing like that.
Result?
Well, the enemy team couldn't see us anymore, so it sort of worked...
Also - this one isn't me, but it made me laugh so much at the time I felt it deserved mentioning.
Taking apart your weapon if you don't know what you're doing. Especially if you decide to do it in the field.
Yup, one of my mates, on deciding that his M16 wasn't performing terribly well, decided to field strip it. In the middle of a wood.
Yes, he did lose several key parts...
