I've yet to try Spartan but as ruse11 said, black ops has 2 sites, cribbs is more open ground where great 'push forward' tactics are needed where as portishead is heavily covered, very close quarters and plenty of cover so stealth and tactics are needed
Thanks for the replies, and merry Xmas all, will be trying black ops and Spartan, was looking at Bristolairsoft at the old crown court aswell but nobody has mention there so is there something I should know?
Bristol airsoft is a small indoor site. Its good fun as an occasional thing, but gets a bit boring if you go regularly. The marshalling quality is a bit variable. It can be massive fun but sometimes the marshals fail to keep the teams balanced and one team just gets pinned down in a respawn point and then it's not fun. Basically its best to play at Spartan and black ops and keep Bristol airsoft for an occasional change of pace.
My self an a few others play at black ops Cribbs and black ops portishead. We are trying out spartan in the new year.
I think Bristol airsoft is meant to be ok but a bit small and can get boring quickly I've heard because of the Size. I'd recommend starting out at Black ops to start with to get your ukara sorted.
Black ops is also a good place to cut your teeth and get into the swing of how it all works, as beast mode said, its a great place to get your ukara and we'll be trying Spartan in the new year aswell and maybe a few milsims aswell
