New to serious Airsofting - Need M4 rifle advice

Having dabbled in the past with plain spring non electric SA80s in the past, ive now got more time on my hands and want to get into more serious airsoft gaming and am looking an electric M4 based close combat rifle with RIS and a metal body for durability.

The trouble is there seems to be sooo many to choose from.

So what are the best makes and what you would you guys recommend?

My budget is up to £200 all in.

Ive seen a A.C.M M4 metal body with RIS for £175 inc two tone scheme, is that a good deal?

My main concern is reliability and also potential either to upgrade or if required obtain spares.

You're going to struggle to get a decent M4 that's full metal for £200 all in.

Your best bet would be G&P, but you'll be looking at upwards of £200 for just the gun, then you'll want a battery and charger, ammo, maybe a magazine or two if you're thinking of skirmishing with it etc etc.

You could get a very good plastic one for under £200 though. Take a look at the G&G line.

If you want an M16 though i'm your guy but it would need a Batt and Charger also i'd need to two tone it :-(

I have just bought a g and g arms cm 16 raider (short) for £249 with battery,charger,two toned and 4000 extra high quality bb's and shipping.The rifle is awsome with a great rate of fire and spot on accuracy with great scope for modifications.also it comes with blowback....I got it from Swindon airsoft...give it a look!!!
