Hey my names Toby and i'm from leeds.I'm new to airsoft never having played before but have done paintball in the past. I just recently bought an ASG Mk 23 socom pistol for use in CQC till I can get my UKARA license so I don't have to get a two tone rifle. Looking forward to hearing some great advice from experience players.

First off- UKARA is a defence. You might think 'what's the difference?' trust me, there is a large one.
If people are encouraged to think of it as a license then airsoft will seem much more exclusive and people will think that the hobby is controlled like gun licensing is.

Good choice of pistol. The ASG/HFC Mk23 socom is a very effective gun and tends to be very cheap to get.

Then you get to spend 2 months drooling over different guns
I recommend looking at http://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk/shopscr26.html where you will find great deals on camo clothing, boots etc.

I've been looking for about a week so far and the G & G combat machine CM16 raider looks good. I have a budget of about £200 for the rifle and then same again for equipment. What would you recommend?
