New to Airsoft help needed :)

No, walk on just means that you're just paying to be there and you're not hiring or anything

Nah daz you don't need to be a member unless it states so :)

Yeah, just get a membership at a site you're likely to go to most often, unless there are significant benefits on offer for joining another.

You can get Viper molle-stylee MP5 mag pouches, proper molle Condor ones, dedicated drop leg ones, and hard plastic molle ones too, as well as those PLCE-stylee ones that Kieran linked to. Just bear in mind that whatever you spend on mag pouches, they will be useless to you if you sell the gun, because they don't fit much else - Skorpion mags maybe, or extended pistol mags (of which you'll never need more than 1 anyway).

I would expect you to get about 11-12 rounds per second too, from an 8.4V battery (700-ish rpm), but I think the FPS will be about 330, not 350. After you've got at least 1 extra hicap mag, but better 3 midcaps to go with the hicap it comes with, your first foray into upgrading your own guns could be to fit a 6.03mm tight bore barrel (TBB), which, b/c it's very short, ought to give you +10, maybe a couple more FPS increasing your range some, but will improve your accuracy too. Or you could go the spray'n'pray route: forget the TBB, get a gun tech to fit a 105 spring (b/c V2 gearboxes are horrible pigs to work on, apparently - I dunno, I've been a V3 enthusiast from the get go) - it will bring your FPS up to about 345 and then a good sticky hop rubber (which you will probably have as stock) will give you the same range as an expensive gun.

Just noticed these while I was checking something else - the sale price is for non-standard camo, but that's a good thing in my book.

So a chest rig is something that can strap to a vest?

Just looked at kwa FPG lol looks like an amazing smg!

Nah, a chest rig is just worn over normal combat clothing.

Edit: don't worry about camo patterns on those chest rigs, just get one in olive drab because it'll work with flecktarn, DPM, MTP, Multicam, Tigerstripe, M88 camo and many others. This'll help when it comes down to buying camo as you don't want to be tied to one pattern

This style of SWAT vest fits an MP5 mag in each of the long pouches, so 2 on the front and another 2 on the back. That POLICE patch comes off if you'd rather not be associated with that sort of person

Generally speaking, if people want MP5 mag pouches on their chest, they get a molle vest or plate carrier and a couple of molle triple mag pouches, but since you're just starting out, that might not be such a good plan, unless, of course, you've already got a good idea of what kind of camouflage/BDU you intend to wear. Tac is right about OD going with everything, but the beauty of those Begadi chest rigs is that the more uncommon patterns are so cheap (although bear in mind that AH will probably spank you £8.99 for postage, as they only have 2 rates and the cheaper one is for items under 1Kg). If I were you I'd get the Rooikat Tigerstripe, or maybe the Danish M84.

Going forward, you'll need something to keep your kecks up, so may as well get a 50mm duty belt of some description and then you can put a couple of pouches on it for things like pyros, sweets/gum (to keep your mouth moist once you start breathing hard from the exercise), your phone, etc.

Nice one! Thanks for the help everyone :) ! Didn't expect such good/fast replies :) !!

For the price of this, is it worth getting just to upgrade the inside?

What makes/brands of GUNS should we stay away from?
No. Don't get that. Especially as its your first gun. You will find it almost impossible to find upgradeable parts for it. And its a RIF so you would need a defence before purchasing in the UK anyway. Idoubt they would even ship it to the UK.

Stay away from:

Double Eagle

Well

Anything on JBBG

Anything on Airsoft4Less

Anything on BBGuns4Less

Ok nice one :) !

I thought well and double eagle were good makes, thanks for the heads up lol. Anything else will be fine though for my first gun?

Well and Double eagle are about as bad as it gets :P
Check out G&G they do some very good yet cheap guns.

I wouldn't buy a GBB for your first gun, they can be unreliable in English weather and take a lot of care and maintenance, plus spare magazines are expensive and looking on zero one's website not available from them, plus Co2 guns can be over some sites limits. Trust us go for an AEG first, then have a gas as a secondary

I had a G&G combat machine and it was rubbish, just a word of warning. For me this gun was terrible. others may have had good time with it i dunno but for me this thing had loads stuff rubbish about it, for starter gun id just spend little more get something better, coz your love airsoft and after a month be looking at upgrades ect.
