New player buying first gun

The sa-eo3 is a quick change spring you don,t take out the gearbox done from stock tube dead quick

Even better!  PatrolBase say "The ESA™ quick change spring system makes changing the main spring a couple of seconds once the gearbox is removed", but that might be copy-pasta from another toy gun.

#::Well had a great day no probs with the gun gd range and shoots well  only problem I did have was doing chrono check  forgot to put battery in  lmao

I wanted the black but like u said all sold out but the tan looks gd  didn't use the mid caps that came with it as they only hold 125 but the 2 hicaps I got gave no problems. Just need to get a sling n some mag pouches no

for the edge models it involves taking the buffer tube off (with the internal screw), nothing else.

Its like an inbetween from their SAEC system and the EC system.

Is it worth me getting another spring or will 310_315 fps be OK  if so what spring would I be better off getting

310 fps is perfectly fine. You won't see much of a gain in range by increasing the fps, heavier BBs will be more effective at increasing range.

That being said, an m100 spring is only around £6.50 from @ak2m4 that will put you up to 340-350 fps. Its up to you if you want to spend that, but its not necessary at all.

Science denial aside, the only things that effect how far the bb flies are linear and angular velocity. Get your fps up to the site limit.

The stock 90 springs and FPS are fine so are stock hops when set right.

If you feel the need to put a stronger spring in a quality 90 spring will give you 330 + and a 95 will push you on or just over the 350 mark with a 100 spring mostly well over.

Every gun build is different and FPS will vary with springs and spring manufacturer also the replacement springs are slightly longer than stock springs that come.

I bought a selection of springs from 90,s to 130 to start with and tried them all and with my Specnas 90 and 95 are what work for me the one with 95 spring chronoed at 366 yesterday so could not use it. The gun had been set up exactly at 350 with upgrades but due to warm weather now shot 366 so be aware FPS can climb as well as fall. Note it was fun shooting the snipers yesterday at distance love doing that.

OK thanks for that  will give it a few more games n see how it goes

I just put an ASG 105 spring into the new EO3 and got 347FPS perfect but less than I would have thought
