Need help with the CZ-P09 piston block!

I am learning about the CZ-P09 GBB and I have found a part called the "piston block" if you know if it does anything except, well block the piston from escaping would appreciate some explanation :D .

It's pretty much a piston, which sits in the cylinder, it has rails on both sides to guide the cylinder back and forward when firing.

There is no big need to know every single part as you probably wont really need it, as it is not a real gun which you have to strip fully and clean every time you shoot it.

Note (the diagram/picture is a little bit different to the actual internals (well at least some bits are)

If you really want to learn more about it, the best option to do is to disassemble one yourself, and so you can look on parts from different angles and understand how they work. I will recommend you not to open/disassemble the trigger mechanism as there is a lot of small parts and springs that like to fly off, and it is also hard to put back without knowledge.
