After getting my gear box rewired I plugged in my battery and motor to make sure all was well before reassembling , I ran the motor out of the gearbox and it worked fine for about 5 seconds then just sort of died. Every time I pull the trigger now it stutters and sparks a little and moves a little before stopping entirely. As I don't want to replace the motor without knowing for certain the cause I was wondering if any one had any suggestions.

is the battery charged?

it dose kinda sound like there may be a issue with the motor though, do you have any electrical solvent to try and clean the motor/burshes?

I did think that last night so charged it up, this morning same thing until I turned the head a bit tried it again and now it works - it's bloody witch craft this!

Just an update if anyone has the same issues, It was the motor brushes that had worn down and making my motor run at supurious intervals becuase they wern't making contact all the time. replaced them for £5 so cheaper than a new motor!
