MOSFET/tappet trouble?

Sorry if this ends up being a really simple fix this I’ve been saving up all my upgrades i want in this gun to install at once and well I’ve installed the mosfet in my V3 gearbox (for the cm048). I’ve removed the plastic trigger contacts and the yaw control bar i think thats what it’s called, because I was told I didn’t need them. Once I’ve put it all together the tappet plate keeps pushing on one of the gears so now the shell doesnt close properly just unsure how to get it to keep on the little latch.

its a gate aster V3 it anyone could also tell me if I’ve installed it correctly please

Sometimes it helps to very gently press back on the air nozzle when closing the gearbox shell. It's hard to make out in the photo but the spring in your trigger might be causing an issue. Here is a video which I found useful.
