Military models

I'm so envious of the modellers in an faceache page I joined, they put my cack handed efforts to shame.

There is a real lack of Cold War models (esp British) on the market so when Airfix teased about this Stolly in my prefered scale 1/35 I snapped it up & £10 off for a damaged box that'll be in the bin as soon as it's built.

Loved the stolly, got to drive one about 28 years ago, absolute monster, can't be many good examples about these days, they rusted faster than an Austin princess lol

A landy was all the driving I got to do (unless you count a field cooker? It did run on petrol)

I'm not a tabletop gamer but thought these were cool, ordered a platoon set & thought it might be of interest to some other forum members.

Those figures are cool and I had forgotten about this thread which ties in nicely with my yearly "let's build a 1/16 tank" thing I seem to do. Here's a very recently finished Takom 1/16 Panzer Ausf A from North Africa WW2

I'm building up a nice wee collection of kits, mainly 1/72 or 1/35 but not built any this year.
Lacking display space & every now and then knock one off the shelf
