Started doing this yesterday, I can’t for the live of me work this out.

The gun has a Gate Merf 3.2 mosfet, runs on 7.4 lipo

Nothing internally looks out of place, selector plate, cut off lever and tappet place all look fine

So from the title have you replaced the standard trigger contacts with a micro switch?

If so there is no trigger disconnect from the cut off lever

Nah it came as standard with a micro switch, and was firing fine, it’s just developed this fault yesterday.

Sorry should have been a bit more clear

If it was firing fine with the MERF and it's now doing that I would hazard a guess at a tappet plate, I know you said that was fine but... or possible the trigger wires to the MERF being pinched or damaged.

Rate of fire sounds low, battery low or if you have worked on it, is it shimmed too tight? As for full Auto on semi, you have a programmable mosfet. Try reprogramming it

Also just realised your the 'after rain care' guy.

Not gained this problem since drying out disassembly etc or got water in the trigger wire connector or something daft?

Either way you've got an issue with it firing slow as pointed out above wether it's related or not
