Metal fell out of my Ak..

So after firing a few rounds through my Ak today, a silver piece of metal fell onto my lap.

I flipped open the receiver and noticed that the metal came off the silver rod that connects through the hammer.

Just want to know if this is a common problem and does the Ra tech trigger set come with the trigger pin/rod?

Any help is appreciated.

From my time on there I know that the AKs are known for having weak hammers which can fracture or snap, in some cases after as little as 500 shots.
