Morning all.

I'm toying with the idea of getting an unmolested, brand new NGRS. Fed up with unreliable AEGs now.

I'm pretty unknowledgeable about the NGRS range though.

I'd want to keep it stock, apart from changing the battery connector to deans.

Am I going to be stuck on .25s, given the low power? Or could it hop .28s ok?

From what I remember it has a very decent hop up unit. You should be good to go with .28s.

Related video if you haven't seen it.

from what i've seen they don't have too much trouble hopping in the .3g range, although you might struggle going with the proper heavies (0.4g and up)

hopping heavies at 1j is definately possible, although it may require some tinkering.

0.28 will work flawlessly and also 0.3’s. I’d stick with 0.28’s though.
