I always wear trainers when there, far more comfortable than my boots with all the walking I do up and down stairs to respawn. Both are well broken in, soon need replacing, and never have issues with sore feet

I have always believed that speed and comfort were more important than protection so always picked fast boots with the low slung back and soft flexible soles.
I was wrong.

Hey guys, I wish I saw this. I was planning to go for Sunday but apperently it's all booked up.

My brother who was meant to come with me has now unfortunately got work so i'm going to lone wolf (bear?) it up.

Going to try queue in for a walk in as they have a reserve for 20 apparently.

Only a short drive for me, but if you are playing Sunday and if I get in, it would be a pleasure to say hello :D

Still mildly new to airsoft.

Join all the other lone wolves there; I always think that a lone bear is just a grizzly kid ;)

Arrive there by 0745 to get to the front of the queue, they have tokens (key ring fob) in a metal tin on the floor by the entrance door for non-booked players. You will recognise us, we will be the ones already looking very tired and covered in welts, with the remains of a fat boy bacon and egg breakfast all over us :D

Most likely we'd be having toothpicks in a corner of the mouth looking for a sunny spot to digest the food. Regarding weather, on Sunday looks like it's gonna light rain, but there are few more days ahead and this is GB.

it is an enclosed shopping mall, you will be fine unless it pi$$es down and some puddles appear through some leaks in roof

(making it a little slippery on polished floor but wtf livens it up a bit I guess)

bring a small torch - they turn off lights sometimes and the service alleys to shop units can be dark to pitch black over on C&A side

even if you not got a super duper strobey torch on ya gun - might save you face planting into some walls

or eat ya veg especially your carrots

I have a cheap tac torch that I'll bring with me. It has a 1000 lm led, which I plan to change to a 600 or 300 till the game (that if my order arrives). I'll improvise something otherwise. I know it's indoor, was referring to the weather outside to chill before the game, like a snake :) )

Is there going to be gas/ammo etc available on site again?

Just thought I'm going to need to pick up some decent tracer ammo, any suggestions from anyone?

You could arrive early and go to A2 Supplies which is the shop attached to The Mall, entrance off Friars Street. I dropped in there on the Saturday afternoon prior to the last private game. They are open until 1730 hrs.

Aye, but how many candles does it have?

Candles - brightness. Lumens - volume of light. :P

@Carlo I would get there a little earlier than 0745. I've honestly seen people end up getting turned away that arrive early. Not trying to worry you, just save you some heartbreak. Aim for 0730 at least and you should be fine.

Getting excited now guys, haven't played for over a month so I could justify playing both days lol. Really looking forward to it.

Cheers buddy!

Hotel is booked. Paid £35 in the end, no brekkie but I can swing by McDs in the morning lol

So I'm definitely in for Sunday too.

You booked at Mercure George ?
No, don't think you can get in there that cheap. Not that I could find anyway. Went with the Bath Hotel, 5 minutes drive away but that's fine. Free parking, En Suite. All I really need is a bed, shower and some plug sockets to charge my batteries!

So assuming this games goes as well as the first, are we all in agreement we should try and get a regular forum game every quarter?
