The ATA has the OS on it and thats all It's going to haveDon't bother with ATA, it's an extinct interface, just get a bigger SATA disk or even better a SSD.
The AMD a10 as a multi-core processor with very poor single core performance is (comparatively) dog turd for gaming since very very few games are optimised for multi core processors. Get an i5, and don't get a GTX 660 Ti, it's an 18 month old budget card which kinda struggled with BF3 let alone BF4;

I'm not saying that you have to be an expert to build computers, it's just that this guy has been making gaming and powerful workstation PC for about 10-12 years now.to be fair. being able to build a computer doesnt make you an expert. its realativly simple to find all the correct parts. i built one at 15 with no training. but they are right. at 400 your not gonna get alot. a good graphics card is 150+ easily so half your budget. so either save for longer or see if theres any good deals in january sales
I could, I could also say central processing unit, giga byte, tera byte and serial advanced technology attachement but Its much easier to use shorthand, I kinda figured someone planning on building a pc would know what PSU stands forpsu (power supply unit) you could have just said power supply

If your looking at a 680, I think the minimum requirement for it is at least a 550w PSU
the SATA I already haveBut why. Just had a look and SATA III is the same price, if not cheaper. You can get a 1TB for £40...
Also you can pick up 760 starting at £180 on Scan.co.uk
