Making a chem light hanger

 Looking to  make a chem light hanger on my battle belt just for  tacticoolness.  

Any one made one? Just wondered how  you did it. Most of the ones ove seen seem to feature a carabenier but tgat as far as ive got.   See photo 

P.s  in the process of replacing the holster  screws

Thread the band through the loop on the chemlight, then loop that end through the other end of the elastic and pull tight. Then put that on the carabiner. That way they wont go anywhere, and in an emergency you can just yank the chemlight and snap the band. 

 
i thought the tacticool way to carry chemlights was to thread them through a bit of spare molle?

 
That is also tacticool, as well as strapping them to a crane stock. Looking cool is half the battle ?

And also spiral some matching coloured tape around the chemlight .... that way it ‘enhances the faction colour’ in light areas, and halves the light output in pitch black tunnels

 
550 paracord loop on the belt or molle with a keyring threaded on the end and job done.
