Make it a rule for the OP of threads titled "question about X" to provide a link to X.

Even when possible respondents know nothing about an item, its still frustrating, moreso if actual respondents are mistakenly talking about something different.

Maybe I have had a glass or two of Malbec more than I can comprehend what you want.  You want any OP (original post) of a topic to link in to a website when asking a question, in order that the respondent avoids getting the wrong idea/misinterpreting what the OP is talking about, and so posts a random answer?
