Mags Don’t Fit

Hey folks, so I’ve searched the internet and even the manual, and my Tippman HPA m4 should accept standard AEG mags. However none of them fit. The only ones that do are the tippman CO2 ones as the blanking plug(converting it from co2 to hpa) seems to block any AEG mag. Am I doing something wrong here??

is that blanking block inserted the wrong way? maybe there is a cut out on the other side meant to be on this side
