Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

@BigAl

Any particular reason this was relisted as a new listing cutting out the questions that were on the previous ad?

Just wondered as you seem to have access to the ukara database without being a retailer,

Or

You are a retailer posting on a private sellers site

It wasn't relisted, I tidied up the thread as only one of the questions was actually constructive, & that information could be added to the post.

Regarding gdpr, there are friendly retailers, who when asked nicely, will confirm if a ukara number is live, & if a name & postcode is supplied, that all three match, by doing so they haven't broken gdpr rules, so no need for a witch hunt or false accusations.

As long as the information is freely given with the consent of the supplier and can be proved, for the purpose of verification - if the retailer then only confirms that the details are correct or not without sharing any other information, it's A-OK.

Doing it for this purpose is an "Informal Subject Access Request by Third Party".

Anyone can call up a retailer and do this, it's quite often why my sales on RIF's take so long, if everything isn't hunky dory, it's not happening.

Fair enough, about the tidying, I though it was a repost due to the timings, hadn't realised the ad had been dragged so much after so recent a posting.

Not supposed to look or sound like a witch hunt but it was a reasoned accusation.

This is information that I didn't have, my understanding or gdpr is from a hospitality point of view and there for a touch more black and white.

Pretty clear based on the multitude of listings he's a pisstaking retailer selling his product, but by god does it look shit, and it's definitely overpriced AF.

Arduino Nano's even at overpriced retailers are £13, the RFID reader is about £7, the screen is usually around £15. There are a multitude of free projects on this theme, even the custom PCB won't add up to enough to justify the near 200% markup for a "Prototype".

I'd use the term "retailer" very loosely with this guy, I'd say more of a tinkerer who thinks he's cornered the market with his homemade "product", which to be fair I think he has.

If the market was "overpriced products that would definitely never sell on afuk", he's definitely killing it lol.

Dragons Den ? ?

When you click on that link it makes me sad , the site can’t even spell correctly

bargain not bargian

Did Siss Arms even make a L96? I can't find any mention of them online so I'm guessing it's a cheap ACM one which sell for around £100 new. From the state of that one it's probably worth no more than £50

Well, neither can so many sellers.  Who knew the "nurpol" brand was so popular?

People really need to stop overvaluing pre-Covid GHK AKs.

Even if new ones are a diceroll between being vaguely functional and absolute dogshit, it doesn't make a ten year old V2 design the holy grail lmao.
