Hey,

As you know I have a G&G CM16 Raider which I am currently upgrading internally, however, I'd like to change the current Crane stock

I quite like the look of the Magpul Stocks HOWEVER, I don't particularly mind if it is Magpul, its just those are the 'nicest' I have seen.

The battery I currently have is this: http://tinyurl.com/czspj62

The stock I like the look of is this: http://tinyurl.com/cknzj5d

My question is, are there any Magpul or Magpul looking stocks that take a crane battery?

Cheers,

No chance of getting that battery in the CTR stock I'm afraid, no storage tubes on the side. You might stand more of a chance of getting it in one of these:

I did manage to get a battery identical to that into a cheap DBoys MOD Stock ( http://www.ebairsoft.com/dboys-bi25-batter...ack-p-4624.html ):

Or as someone is bound to suggest, go Lipo. You'll get a 7.4v in your stock tube and can fit any stock you want :)

ACS won't accept old-school batteries, it has tubes down the side but they're much too narrow for that.

Get yourself a couple of 7.4s and a charger from component-shop and you'll be able to throw any stock on your heart could desire without ever having to worry about battery storage; sorted.

Always good to have 2 for backup! Plus you shouldn't run Lipos flat or you will kill them, so it's good practice to have 2 and switch over at lunchtime.

You'll need to measure the depth of your stock tube to see which lipos will fit, but it should be good to go unless there's a fuse down there too. That might make it a bit too tight for the battery so it will need to be removed.

I don't think there's a torch but I'll get a torch and double check.

Thanks muchly
