Hi there, I wonder if anyone on this forum could enlighten me (as i could not find any specifics in the VCRA) as to the legality of owning a high quality realistic imitation firearm (not painted) that was bought prior to 2006 and the new legislation for a non-UKARA member? And the correct course of action (if neccesary) for someone who is not me to take if they were in this position?

Thanks,

from what i understand if the gun was bought before 2006 then it is fine to have it, however should you want to buy any more guns you will need to be registered if over 18, or buy two-tone if 18 and don't want to register

also if you plan on selling it you will need to check if the buyer is ukara'd themselves

Nutster would be correct.

Pre-2006 weaponry is the way to go. When TM was well ahead of JG. :D
