KWA Kriss Vector Owners Club

Looks good enough to me, did you get the vector rear wired when you changed the stock over to the M4 type?

Cheers. And no, haven’t bothered, I get a decent enough battery for my uses. Would be very easy to do though

Nope, AEG, it’s for my Krytac. Tested it at the range this afternoon, worked perfectly, just need to make it look a bit better

This is the KWA

Hi Guys, got my KWA Vector a few months ago but didnt use it due to cold weather, Getting it ready for the spring/summer games and notice its shooting 240-260FPS max. Iv changed the hop rubber and given it some general maintenance, but no change, iv even put a power up Suppresor on it and it doesnt get above 260FPS. I know these new were 350-380, both myself and my local gun tech cant think what to do next, any suggestions?

Also rocketdogbert where did you get your UBR stocks? cant find them anywhere

My power took my Vector to over 470fps, so it came straight off and is now for sale :D

Im not sure what the tech has seen/done but a few things to look into would be around the bolt carrier and piston.

1) Check your piston spring, maybe that’s has gone weak. Pull the nozzle out and let it go and it should retract back very fast and solid.

2) when you pull the piston nozzle from the bolt, check the sides and give it a light grease if it has dried out.

3) inside the lower receiver slide where the bolt carrier is inserted near where the bolt moves forward and back when fired should be lightly greased.

Something else to check, find out from previous owner if an Npas has been installed, or you’ll need to open the piston and see. If there is one... you’ll need to close it fully for full power.

I’ll show some pictures tomorrow when I get home.

Let me know now if you’ve done any of these checks above

Didnt know this was here. I verry recently aquired a KWA vector in original box and near enough unused condition . Guess by the look of it that its possably had less than 5 to 10 mags through it in its life. 1 of them by me and i have to admit its absolutly sweet to shoot verry possably the nicest thig i have ever shot. Question is do i run it or not with it being like new?

Use it at least once and see how it feels ;)

How is that turning out? I’m currently trying to learn this from YouTube. Lol

Bit more work on the HPA & remote mag.

I learned:

Redline SFR regulator is superb.

It is possible to use a manual wind hi-cap mag, as long as you replace the spring with something stronger (I used an Element spring).

Using a manual wind, you only get about 20 shots until you have to wind again. And with a 750mm bowden cable, it takes so much winding to get the the right pressure on the bb’s, my thumb wore out and now no longer works the finger print ID on my phone :)

In addition to that, the pressure starts to stretch the cable.

Next steps, get an electric box mag, change the motor and spring, get a quick disconnect for the bowden cable, try different covers to protection for the bowden cable.

Can you tell  I like building stuff? :D

And done. Got some advice on a remote mag, played with the Bowden cable length, I now have a working system, HPA AND huge amounts of ammo lol

I can’t seem to PM you @rocketdogbert, could you pm me a couple of details about this? Looking for something similar on a pistol of mine, just want to get some advise from someone who has done it!

Sorry about that, message box was full, whoops! Will pm you now

All done, few teething problems at the range today, but now robust and working perfectly, 8-9 rps which I’m happy with

I personally own a Krytac, and I love it's performance but I'm more of a collector and I'm desperate for a KWA GBB!

What are your thoughts on this, should I try to swap out my Krytac for the KWA, get the Hephaestus recoil kit and some real steel parts?

I mean I don't really use my AEG because I have better alternatives, also could someone give me tips on how to go about getting a KWA :D  and should I swap my AEG for the GBB? Many thanks

I’ve sent you a PM on zero in mate, but I don’t think you’re going to get anyone to swap an AEG for a KWA Vector, always worth an ask though
