Interesting, but it looks like two separate tasks mashed together: thinking, and shooting.  I mean, have you met airsofters? :D

Welp, this'll be perfect for that certain, masochistic breed of milsimmer.

How much are you charging for this and how long does the event last?

Looks like To Be Decided.  London rents and rates, 7 at a time, and high amount of wrangling needed, they'll have to churn them through fast, and/or charge proper money for the full waterboarding experience.

So it'll be a stupidly high price for a very short time. The more I read about this, the worse it looks

@Killbox

"provide your blanket consent to being verbally abused, touched, shocked, force fed, restrained, tied up or subjected to any of the other actions or behaviours which one might reasonably expect from a military scenario."

Am I allowed to fight back in these senarios?

Lol, right about now @Killboxis questioning whether this forum was the right place to announce his new venture....... ???

I'm pretty sure the whole consent thing doesn't mean shit. I'm sure I remember hearing about doms at an S&M club being arrested for assault, despite having consent from subs. Killhouse might want to read up on the legal side of this if he doesn't want to end up in court

Pretty sure that was when all the subs turned out to be politicians or high court judges and the whole thing went away, wasn't it?

Not sure of the detail. I did find this though

https://www.lawcom.gov.uk/app/uploads/2016/08/No.134-Criminal-Law-Consent-and-Offences-Against-the-Person-A-Consultation-Paper.pdf

Page 7 section 1.2

A person is guilty of the offence of assault if- (a) of another he intentionally or recklessly applies force to or causes an impact on the body

(i) without the consent of the other, or

(ii)  where the act is intended or likely to cause injury, with or without the consent of the other

I reckon they'll use the "as long as you follow orders, you won't be harmed" thing as a get-out clause.

There really shouldn't be a problem as long as customers are properly informed about what to expect[*], and nothing causes lasting injury.  Heck, we pick up bruises and bleeders on a regular basis, and so does anyone playing contact sports, especially combat ones, so "injury" seems rather nebulous.

I'm not sure what "shocked" mean, whether that's zapped (good luck finding a safe and legal way to do that), or horrified when you're handed the bill.

Force feeding can sod right off though, that's got choke-hazard written all over it. I'd love to see them get liability cover for that.

[*]A point I keep broken-drumming about with airsoft sites.  Instead of those risible "waivers" that we all sign which mean nothing, sites would be better off investing the ink on listing the actual hazards that we're likely to encounters, their duty of care, and the limits of it.

So, 7 friends agree to go to a secret location, pay loadsa wonga & sign a waiver that says "do what you like to me".

What could possibly go wrong lol.

I'm no lawyer but I'd love to see them try to use that in court

Agreed, especially as tasers and cattle prods are classed as section 5 weapons. As for force feeding, that brings up more liability issues such as potential allergies

I see Killhouse hasn't been back since posting this so hopefully this will be one of those projects which get annouced before dieing without anyone hearing any more about it

Badly thought out hairbrained schemes that involve Airsoft, usually touted by by prepubescent middle class eedjits with tiny amounts of life experience/Airsoft knowledge/business acumen ?.

Nah, I've never seen anything like that posted up on an airsoft forum ?
