Can I ask, I've just read this and I ordered a g&g gas blowback weapon, as it was cheaper here than on other sites, will it be faulty, and is the product what it is meant to be??
Stuff doesn't get delivered broken afaik, but their service and so on is bad. They also lie about features / construction of some guns. For example saying they have metal gearboxes when they don't.

But I wouldn't expect them to help out if the gun breaks unlike proper airsoft retailers.

alright thanks, incase the gun is faulty where would you go to get your gun?

I've had stuff off 'BB gun' sites and literally never had any problems, in fact, service has been pretty good actually from both Only BB Guns and Just BB Guns. Although I would only recommend buying off them if you know that what you are after is actually a decent product, because they do sometimes talk up mediocre products, and the reviews on the sites are not to be relied upon. But if you know the product is okay and the price is good, then all you are really doing is shopping around.

Specifically, I've had all these items off BB sites with no issues whatsoever: a DBoys M4, a Well GBB MP5K, a Black Viper AK12, a Unicorn Hobbies AKS74U, a Kimber GBB 1911, a Well D69 carbine, a springer SKS (that one is crap, but I knew that when buying it, because it is for a project), a Mossberg 500 tactical shotgun, spare GBB 1911 mags, green gas, 5,000 .2g Bulldog BBs (those BBs weren't that great admittedly, I wanted to check the brand out. They weren't terrible, I did actually use them, but wouldn't get em again as there are certainly better brands out there).

I just cant believe i missed them setting up a store and skirmish-site in my home town, although it didn't last long it seems, pricey area for real estate!

Some said it was over-priced, I would have happily spent £20 for an hour using my TM High Cycle to shoot local brats armed with justbbguns potato-cannons. That'd be 5 minutes of me shooting kids until they quit, and 55 minutes practicing a convincing Simpsons-Nelson HAW HAW before the game started ;)

A friend of mine bought a B500A1 from them ages ago and had no troubles, although he was dissapointed that the button on the side didn't summon an SAS assault team via helicopter as promised in the review ;)

i dunno, wank is pretty accurate for how many minutes excitement one their guns would create, someone else called them potato cannons earlier in this thread and i have to agree!

Their skirmish site has closed already? I thought they only set it up a few weeks ago. Shame, I was looking forward one day to going there with my SVD with the PSO on it and nailing a load of people with Double Eagle, Black Viper and Bulldog M4s with complete impunity as their fire from bulldog .2 BBs rocketed off in all directions.

This thread will never die.....

People will always buy from there first and regret it, like most of us did

by then it is too late to read this thread - you got scammed....

BUT - if you discover this thread then you will soon take a little comfort that you are not the only one to be tucked up

JBBG must spend ££££ on Google Adwords - coz they always come up top when looking for airsoft or bb guns

Hence so many newcomers get swept along and accept that this guy knows his stuff

(Bull$hit deffo but Airsoft hmmmmmmm.....)

if there was a Lidl or KwikSave in airsoft - it would be based in Twickenham

Hopefully people learn quickly and just buy from these clowns once or twice

think JBBG know this too and can't mug ya over & over again - but by then it won't matter

another sucker stumbles across these "pro's" in their search engine,,,,,,

The saying "one born every minute" comes to mind and so it continues - just like this thread

I like lidl.

For all the hate i did buy my first Airsoft gun from them.

But it was a quality one namely a G&G M14 EBR short barrel.

All the other stuff they had in the shop when i visited it in person was utter tat, flimsy plastic sniper rifles etc.

Worse still while i was there i saw them sell a bb pistol (albeit a cheap low FPS, two tone, spring knock off worth about £20) to a 13 year old traveller boy who brought along his big sister (she looked barely over 16) as adult purchase.

Yup, having a tick box on a website for 'I confirm I am over eighteen' might be alright in terms of legal protection for them, but I doubt it prevents thirteen year-olds ordering stuff from them. As you say, there's a lot of crap on BB gun websites, but it's not all crap, and if you know what you are looking for then it certainly is possible to buy decent stuff off BB gun websites. For example, I recently got my 'pseudo PSL-54' JG A47 off 'BBguns365' for 99 quid including postage, which was about 40 quid cheaper than anywhere else I could have got it from, and I knew it was an okay gun, so was happy to have them supply it, after all, they just take it off a warehouse shelf and put it in some packing same as any more 'respected' online airsoft shop would do.

I think the real problem with BB gun sites, is that when you read some of the user reviews posted on product pages, many of them are quite clearly from people who are nowhere near 18 years of age if the grammar is anything to go by. So it is rather obvious that selling to young people who are largely ignorant of differences in quality, and not legally allowed to buy either, is their stock in trade, and they clearly don't give a shit about that either. They also do tend to claim that everything they sell is awesome, and occasionally make bogus claims about their stuff too, so, caveat emptor, as ever.

But I've never actually had bad service form any BB online shop, everything I've ever bought from any of them has arrived in a timely fashion and any problems I've had with stuff not being in stock has prompted them to call me and let me know of that very quickly. So I personally will use them if they have something cheaper than elsewhere, which they quite often do.

I dont know if they have a new site, i'd only found mention of them running a v small CQB site in the warehouse attached to the store they setup in Wokingham. The store is long gone so the site must have gone with it.

Unless 'Airsoft101' and the site 'Warehouse13' is them, in which case it doesn't appear to be open yet, or failed to get going.

Hi all - I wanted to make you all aware of the trouble I have had in my dealings with Justbbguns.co.uk.

I am from a Film Production company and we had been trying to create a specific shot for a client. We had tried to create it using post production techniques but in the end we decided it would be easier to use a real looking gun.

So I had a look online and found this 'company'. I ordered a bb pistol and ticked the box saying I was from a production company. They took my money, confirmed my order and that was it. Or so I thought.

A few days later I received an email advising me my order was now on hold and to contact them immediately. So I did. But they didn't answer. For 3 days I tried to contact them until finally they responded to one of my emails and told me I had to provide a whole load of documents before I could complete my order. All this despite the fact they had already had my money for 5 days. Anyway by this time it was going to be to too late for the shoot anyway so I said forget it just refund my money. At which point they then said I would have to pay a 20% handling charge to cancel my order. At no point was this pointed out to me and nowhere does it say this on their website. So now I have to wait for the outcome of a claim made through Paypal against these thieves.

My advice - DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS.

They're not the best it has to be said, however, they are correct in stating that they do need sufficient evidence that you are from a post production company or similar in order for the sale to be legal (typically a letter on the company stationery detailing the production the thing is for) and it does say that on their checkout page as far as I'm aware.

I work for a post production company too, and even though that means I could certainly use that status to purchase realistic imitation firearms for the special effects I produce, I know that it is a pain in the ass to provide that info, so I instead use my UKARA registration number. Frankly however, I would have just bought an orange BB gun, sprayed it matt black and then done all the other necessary visuals in After Effects if I were you.

So long as this was within 14 days of receiving the item, (which it obviously is in your case, as you haven't received it) you have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (superseded the old Distance Selling Regs)

Them claiming a 20% restocking fee for an item not dispatched is illegal and you need to tell them! Post 14 days they are within their rights to and have no obligation to accept the item back. But as you have paid and they have not dispatched, you are covered.

As per always don't just take legal advice from some faceless moron on t'internet, go off and do your own research on the CCR.

But a strongly worded letter, threatening small claims court for breech of cantract and CCR breeches would be my next priority.
