It appears that Warrington Airsoft (Previously known as Bombup) might have gone bump.

Just noticed this an hour ago (at the time of posting) on the UKAirsoft subreddit. A post by u/Different-Ad-3019 stating that it's closed, no known re-opening date and people are apparently getting no response to the email address given.

I did a little digging and on their official FB page that they have a 'Temporary Closure' until further notice. Usual 'apologies' etc etc.

So I checked Companies House for the Bomb Up company listing and found some rather odd things. For a start, accounts are nearly a year overdue and their last confirmation statement is 6 months overdue. They only opened their new store just over a year ago (July 24) however since then in April of this year, their registered office changed from being the shop to some random Suite on a random industrial estate down by Cambridge and they only have 1 listed 'Officer', the Director with one leaving at the end of March. On the 27th of May the 'First Gazette' notice for a compulsory strike-off (probably due to not filing statements) however that was objected to and the strike off suspended on the 11th of June.

Right now the www.bombupairsoft.co.uk website just white pages with a 'lander' that goes nowhere. The www.warringtonairsoftretail.co.uk website is just showing as 'Opening Soon' and the www.ptcairsoft.co.uk website which is the site for the game site they run is showing every single game date through to the 7th of December fully booked up which I very much doubt.

If this is true, this is another big blow for the North West community after Invasion completely shut down, the loss of another site and shop means our choices become even more limited.

Looking through their published accounts, it appears that they have been unable to pay their creditors.  Unless there is a significant injection of cash, it does look rather as if they are finished.

Invasion completely shut down
The Invasion shop is shut  and the indoor site closed years ago, but their woodland site is still running, and it is on this Sunday 03/08/25.

Really? I've not seen a single thing on Facebook about the game days at the weekends. With the shop closing I assumed that was it, the entire company was done as I know Ben hasn't been in the best of health the past few years among other things.

The woodland site been going through thick and thin.

Yes the advertisements does need work. Not sure if you post a comment on the shop Facebook page you may get a response. If you have Ben's phone number send him a WhatsApp, he responds on there and there is a Facebook chat group where most of the organising takes place but it invite only.

If you free this Sunday pop down to the site, and they should be able to add you to the chat, so you can be kept in the loop with game dates.

I haven't spoken to Ben for years so was considering popping down as a little surprise. However I've just seen the weather forecast and I don't fancy getting drenched tomorrow. It is what it is.

Ah for craps sake. I'm planning on playing on Sunday and was going to pop in for some supplies.

Are there any other shops that are close to Liverpool?
