Inner barrel length

I'm wondering has anyone cut down a inner barrel ? Or is it a no go ?

As long as you use a reamer afterwards you should be ok.

Probably better off just buying a shorter one to be honest, ZCI barrel sold by Ak2m4 are very well priced

You can but it is best done on a lathe. 

The end needs crowning and you need to polish out any burrs caused by cutting.

Many many times. Piece of cake, plumbers pipe cutter, then file  to square if needed, then mounted stone like pic to crown.
