ICS 551 Swat - Charging handle stuck open :(

Help me please someone!! As you can tell by the title the charging handle (pull back bolt that hides the hopup adjustment) is stuck all the way open. I have tried the switch on the other side of the gun but nothing works.

Im going airsofting for the 1st time in years on sunday so im desperate.

Pull back on the charging handle as hard as you can and give the release a sharp tap down.

If that doesn't work you will need to seperate the receiver and release it from the inside its only a 10 minute job.

On another note if you want to sell the 551 give me a shout.

 
Im unable to remove the receiver with the charging handle in the open position :(

 
Oh its ok the receiver came off the switch on the opposite side that was meant to release the catch had sheered it did nothing but its an old gun I can still adjust the hopup and the cover is now closed. Thanks for your help Imtriggerhappy :)

 
Its your top rail that is too tight and makes it harder to close the bolt. Give it sone slack and see how it goes
