Been doing airsoft since 1998 on and of and now  at 50 find myself climbing back in to my combats once more .

I should be sat with my slippers on and a brew watching one man and his dog but find myself running head first in to plywood at a local CQB site .

Hi Mate, I've just turned 50 also, and starting out from scratch building knowledge, reading reading and researching. I have kit from other hobbies.

Youre out of luck, it’s a TM pistol, it won’t just break. Unless you “upgrade” it, then it will be shite forever.

ergh not experienced with higher brand stuff

I can only afford the cheapo shit as it lessens the blow to wallet when fucked

I would guess fill it with wrong gas & go nutz

then send it to somebody like Luke

(coz I know fuck all about pistols & especially anything TM related)

now if you got a starter gun or cheap mid-range one you want wrecked

Hello All,

My first post on this forum. At slightly over 50 years of age I have got into Airsoft basically because my kid is mad about it. I have a shotgun and have done plenty of clay shooting so no stranger to the bang bangs. But having played a few sessions and (I think) started to get the hang of it, I've really enjoyed it. Did not realise it would be such a physical work out... tramping back to the spawn point 15 times (because I'm crap) over all those trees and undergrowth finds me knackered by the 5th game.... But having decided we do enjoy it, and getting to spend quality time with my son, the wallet has opened. I grabbed a bargain Specna Arms C4 Carbine for myself, and a Lancer Tactical M4 for the boy. Both discounted so under £100 each which I don't think is too expensive to get into a hobby. We shoot up the garden where I've set up a huge OSB shot trap and do the local club every other weekend. I couldn't hold myself back during the Black Friday sale at Patrol Base and now I'm long one G&G M249 SAW. Think I scared the shit out of the elderly neighbours rattling that thing off in the garden... awesome.

Only thing is I do take it easier running around these days, a twisted ankle or knee just don't heal like it used to!!!

Lots of fun ? to be had,at a wallet wounding price and every chance you will walk away with nasty sore spots! And having to explain to the wife why you are skint and why you dont want to undress with the light on. Lol

You can watch which is cheaper but you will still get the bug.?
