Hey guys,

Need your help a little. I bought my first Hi Capa - the WE Hi Capa 7.1 Dragon to be precise. I bought it 2nd hand without a mag so I also purchased a stock mag online.

I've gone through about 6 co2 canisters messing around today after giving it a limited service and while I am quite happy with its performance there is a little issue with the mag.

The mag base cover has fallen off plenty of times while shooting and after finishing off a whole mag. If it wasn't landing on Yorkshire paving stone I simply wouldnt have noticed it. I'm worried that I'm going to lose it for sure when using it at skirmishes.

Your experiences or any advice?

Cheers breddas!

My 5.1 dragon's mag has popped out on me before I read somewhere its due to the mag release sticking out quite abit :( but yeah the plastic cover can also be loose.

Just out of interest what's your co2 usage like? I can manage 2 loads of bb's before its new co2 canister time

That sounds rather expensive. Thats ~70p for 2 magazines worth.

Whereas i can get 3-4 magazines from 1 normal gas fill....

I only paid 60p per canister ;) iirc from milspec too

With the own gas mag, I don't get through a mag of bb's before its out of gas

I think I'm getting about two mags or more. It seems the co2 usage isn't consistent though because the first shot is super powerful and the rest are similar until I'm getting close to the end of the co2 canister, by that point I find myself resting my finger on the slide release so it doesn't lock.

I also have the Hi-capa 7 dragon its such a great gun I really love it however it really eats gas quickly I fill up the mag with green gas and it lasts only that one mag (31 rounds) which kind of sucks is there a way to get more mags worth out of a refill?
