Help with batterys - a+k m249

Been banging my head on this subject since yesterday can some just give me a straight yes or no answer please can I run a lipo 7.4v 2s battery in a standard a+k m249 saw with no mosfet or will it toast the gear box here's a pic of the gun I don't want to wreck View attachment 26843

Yes. I run a standard 7.4V lipo in my M60 with no trouble. You only need the MOSFET for 11.1v lipos.

It'll be fine. You'll need to replace the trigger microswitch at some point regardless because the one they fit is a pile of wank. Replacement is about £3 from Maplins!

What c rate / mah are you using how long dose it last roughly

I use the little PEQ box 1200mah 30c nuprol battery(it came with the gun when purchased second hand).

It lasts half the day, so we have 3, 1 as back up.
