Guns You Think Are Good, but You Hate Them Anyway.

the whole point of this thread is irrationally disliking guns even if you admit to yourself they're actually pretty good, not meant to be too serious :P

Oh yeah, all in good fun...I don't get in to "fur realz" arguments online.

Nope completely missed the the point there bud , got fornication all to do with its performance for all I care you could be taking out players on a different site in a different county the range and accuracy is that monumental . No it’s ALL about the fact it looks like it’s been squeezed out of a giant lump of man cheese that makes it soooooooooooooo repulsive ! ?
I agree with your there. The Evo looks totally uninspired like a placeholder gun in a game before they hired a graphic designer. Admittedly I do kind of like it like this but then I realised it's rather just have an mpx

Another vote against the Evo - its the mags - if they were a bit thicker I could like it

I tried twice with an evo, once when they first came out and then an evotek when I had forgotten the grip angle that only John Inman could find comfortable and the right hand fire selector that sticks into your trigger finger.

Never again

I can't stand the look of M4 style 9mm rifs.  They just look deformed.   A perfectly usable, well thought out platform, but just wrong.
Rifles with pistol caliber mags just look like those guys in the gym who always skip leg day ?

I would add H&K MP7 - both the real and TM versions are great but they are so un-ergonomic to hold…and that is before people start adding a red dot….and a PEQ….and a torch….then badly Krylon the whole abortion

Held the Evo, not fired, and frankly it almost made it on to the 'i have a savings pot for this gun' list. Dont see the issue

The P90 has been a dream gun and does have a savings pot, well it did til i got my hands on one. Cramped.

Bullpups. That is all.

See I like the look of a P90 and owned one for a while. I sold it because I got tired (literally) of using the Lego brick trigger.

I want to get a p90 at some point but literally just so I can put the internals in a new 3d printed sci fi body

With the p90, its the mags as well. Although Wolf Armouries (pre covid) did let me grab a couple of mags to try the change. It would take a lot for me to get the leg setup comfy.

Also buffer tube stocks. Put one on any toy (unless m4/ar) and i like it less.

Another mention for glocks as well, for all of the reasons mentioned above, and everyone has one or glock adjacent, sigs, they are short glocks. I choose this hill.

Tokyo Marui recoils.

Yes, they are good out the box.

Just they are not the be all and end all. The recoil I suppose is fine if you've never had anything else, but frankly it's just a wobble.

Just buy a GBBR.

Also, they have a their GBB AK coming. With faux wood. That's a poor effort.

Agree AND disagree , totally agree TM really do sit on there reputation when it comes to the externals of there guns , the plastic/wood furniture is shocking . BUT as you said they are among the best out of the box and as long as there no F**king around with them internally they will stay that good for an awful long time , not many other brands can say that .

Gas is better but again only in the right environment , think there pretty pointless on an open scurmish day when everyone else is running more BB’s in one game than you could in an entire day , we may have the satisfaction of the boom and clunk of a bolt reciprocating each time we pull the trigger but first time player with his rental is still gonna own you with his 600rd AK hi-cap in the end .

I mean ok own one so can't really say I hate it but machine guns, lmgs and saws. You're paying twice the price to carry twice the weight and you're getting something that performs maybe as well as a stock G&G with a drum mag. Add onto this the known numerous issues with the gearboxes, box mags and hop up units and you start to wonder why you bothered.

because no matter how much you deny it, even to yourself, you get a kick out of players being scared of you cos you're carrying a big ass gat.

I guess this is more a case of a gun that you know is bad but you love it anyway. It does feel good having a teammate call you over and ask you to lay down suppressing fire on a position.

I know man, spent 3 years in denial that the mg42 just needed the hpa conversion tweakee and it was nothing to do with it being really impractical to actually use......

OR you can plant the seed of doubt in the ear of someone who’s already got one and has FIXED all said faults with it then when they have there moment of “why do I even own this ridiculous lump of metal ?!?!” you step in like a knight in shining armor and say “I’ll buy it off you !” And they then thank you profusely ! ???

Or so I’ve been told works allegedly ? ? ???

I keep eying up a SAW but then I remember how much of a ball ache they are to lug around. That and how much ammo I used to go through with it

A VERY long time ago was at a gameday and a player who’d won a mini gun had it presented to him , i think it was from landwarrior(but probably wrong!) any hoo he gets given the mini gun all big smiles , see him again a couple of mths later ask him if he still had it to which he replied ; “f**k no ! Had to get rid of it the wife said she’d divorce me if she caught me trying to sell the kids on-line again to pay for BB’s the way it eats ammo ! “?
so yea supports are fun , till you see the feeding bill ! ?‍♂️

Just dry-fire them, they'll be 90% as effective, and it won't increase the fragility one whit. :P
