Just a quick plug for the knee pads that saved my bacon this weekend.

Not cheap but seeing as I already had them for cycling it seemed daft to go and buy others for airsoft.
They fit under combats with ease, don't make your knees sweat, don't move AT ALL and after a few minutes you forget you're wearing them, they're that comfy. But the clever stuff they're made out of goes solid when it receives an impact. and judging by the epic bruise on my leg where the pad wasn't, they do the job of keeping your kneecaps in place perfectly.
I shall be wearing these in future, and possibly not sprinting across/ stacking spectacularly/ crashing heavily onto slippery, wet wooden bridges in the face of withering enemy fire!
