Glock 17 green gas clean and lubricant

I have just got my first green gas Glock 17 (Umarex officially licensed by Glock). I took the slide off to find it already having lubricant and was wondering if I should clean it and lubricate it again. I was thinking to do it to be on the safe side but I don’t know if it’s fine to use straight out of the box or should I do it to be sure it’s clean lubricant

Always good to give it a clean and lubricant it again. Look after it and it will look after you!

It's not a real gun, the lube the factory applied is absolutely fine.

It’s recommended to clean and lube GBB pistols once every 6 months but it depends heavily on the amount of use put through it. I personally clean and lube my G17 GBB after every skirmish.
