Morning all

Looking for some direction with looking after GBB Mags post game

Previously had an MK23 & found looking after the mags post games was a bit of a mare with so many leaking

Recently purchased a MP7A1 & keen not to have a repeat of leaky mags

Is there a consensus view of how you should take care of the mags post games? Lots of different views / lots of different wives tales, common suggestions I've heard are:

Leave the mags fully gassed

Empty gas & half fill mag with maintenance gas

Would be good to hear from you all as to what works for you / where you've had success post game maintaining the mags / mitigating leaks

Thanks in advance for any first hand advice given

I like to strip my mags down when new and check they are clean / no foreign objects.

Check all the seal mating faces are good, no debris or moulding marks.

Reassemble with all seals coated in silicone oil.

Then as you've said, I store them half-ish gassed, it doesn't have to be maintenance gas unless you run propane or dry gas.

I've had mags sat in storage for 10+ years with no more prep than a quick squirt of 134a gas fwiw
