G&G MP5A4 Battery connector

Hello,

I have recently bought a G&G MP5A4. It is my first airsoft gun, so I don't really know how they work.

I can't seem to connect my battery to my gun, because of them having the same connector. I don't know if this is a common problem or I just need an adapter or something.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me before Sunday!

Picture isn't the clearest.

Obviously red should go to red, and black to black.

It looks like red may be going in to the square side on the gun end, but on the battery end you've got the negative (black) lead going in to the square side.

Normally the red should be going to the circular side and black to the square side.

You have definitely got a male and female connector there though, so they should go together somehow.

You need a Tamiya large-small adapter. Cost from Helmetworld about £4
