G&G GR 16 good for beginner or not

Hi,

I was thinking of getting this gun. Would it be good for garden target shooting. Also would a 2200 mah lipo battery 11.1v. Or do i need a 9.6v mini battery.

If you want it for garden shooting then get it even for a skirmish it is good, and always, well, i would always stay safe with an 8.4v but 9.6v is okay and yes you need Mini batteries

An 11.1v lipo will break it, very quickly.it'll be fine for plinking, almost excessive

A mini 8.4v will do

Thanks for the info I guessed as much with the battery. As for skirmishing I might give it a try.

Tbh, if your not going to skirmish, then id advise getting something cheaper

I own one, there great, but mine came with the barrel upsidedown and its not very mag compatible
