G&G GAS Raider - Problem

A friend who has a G&G GBBR Raider from like 5 years ago asked me if i could help with a problem.

In short, gas up mag, insert mag, charge gun, fires a BB does not cycle and dumps the gas out of the mag...

ive had this before in pistols but for the life of me i cant remember...
