G&G cm16 raider dissassembly issue

Hi everyone, sorry to ask a question with a probably very simple answer!! There is a tiny pin located just in front of the fire selector switch and it seems to be holding the gearbox in place. The pin is not easy to bang out and I'm slightly worried to hit it too hard in case I damage something. Does anyone know how to remove this pin or is something else keeping the gearbox from moving?

Update: I managed to bang the pin out most if the way but it stuck and i was still unable to get the gearbox out. Any advice??

Take it all the way out. One side has ridges on it, it must go out that way. The other side is smooth, so if it is smooth you see, bang it back and push it out the other way.

Also when you put it back in, put the smooth side in first, this make it a lot easier, also if you have trouble removing it one side flip it over and try from other side

The online guide I used last night did not show me this pin!! 

Took me ages to work out why the gearbox was not coming out GRRR  B)
