Morning all, names Rich. New to the Forum, so thought it was best to say hello...!

I'm from Walsall and have been into Airsofting for just over a year now.

I got into it after the Wife's friends fella told me he did it. So, after taking a look at his Guns, my wife picked me up an early Crimbo present from JD Airsoft in Cannock.

She came back with an ex-display MP5 and P226;

A few weeks later, I was invited out for my first outing down at the Mall in Reading...

I had a absolute blast! and instantly got hooked :)

The MP5 didnt fair up so well, I managed to drop it in the basement, smashing the adjustable stock to pieces, then, the front sight fell off and then the fire selector switch came out :(

But, it never skipped a beat :)

I havent bought any other Guns yet, my intention was to run these into the ground and buy a HK416, but ended up rebuilding the MP5 to look and work a little meaner.

So below is their current form. The MP5 had a new Handguard with straight grip, Silencer, Top Rail with Red Dot Sight, 2x point sling, Laser/Torch and a fixed stock. The battery had to be relocated to the stock because of the new Handguard.

The P226 just had a torch/strobe added on;

Anywho, looking forward to having a mooch and will hopefully bump into a few of you on the battlefield..!

Hi Monty, they were on display/clearance. they dont have markings on them, but i have been told they are Tokyo Marui. I still consider myself a noob, so not sure how to tell lol

Hi Richie, always good to see new people entering the sport. Nice what you've done with the MP5,
