If any of you want to meet up, theres always the milsim at Watford on 20/21st September ? you can camp or go to the premier inn, as you wish..

Well if it falls through then lets do a North, South & maybe Midlands outing in between....

2 or 3 AF branches so to speak and then if goes well we can can make a comitted effort to go Midway

The branches could vary some skirmish sites for example:

Sandpit - Dartford

Epsom Bunker

maybe the barracks Kent & Portsmouth way

Not too fussed about Woolwich bunker 51 or whatever is called but 3 or 4 sites I'd like to try down south soon

if we are serious about it and try not to drop out at last minute then I'm sure we can help out with a lift

or pick-up if not too far out of the way

We can start off all casual & friendly - easy on touchy feely crap though

then who knows we could end up having a North Vs South match - maybe even get a small team for next year Annual event

But just a laugh n joke, make a change to play somwhere new, get my ar$e kicked by some different players etc...

swap hints tips have a go with some different weapons - vote on best loadout, top sniper/marksman

Well deffo gonna look at them south sites soon I said but if we do get to grips with a mid meet up

maybe September might not be too hot for running round in hot weather all in full loadout gear

On topic: I wouldn't mind picking people up if needed but I'd only have space for another two people in my car (three guys with rifs and camping gear takes up a lot of space). Obviously it would have to be along the route and not out of the way

It might not be a bad idea organising 3 separate get together's for the North/Midlands/South.

Maybe delegate 3 people from those areas to organise something local(ish) to them and see about a larger event in the summer next year .. perhaps a 3 way war to see which division is the best ( It's south by the way)

That might be the best thing to do- all 3 factions could have a meet and greet at the summer event as well as a showdown

Maybe we can ask Dev to set aside room on the forum for the organisation/discussion of the meet ups, if anyone wants to volunteer in helping get these set up it would be a good step forward.

OK thinking of making up those type of headings then we can just drop ideas in and that lot

Hopefully a handful of us playing a few local region games - or we got no hope of ever meeting up in one place

Don't wish to cause offense - you may get to see I one one the South East's biggest Bell-Ends one day

We should ask Dev to set up some Pinned Posts for Middle/south/north to try sort meet & greets out rather than putting it in a general area and it getting lost to other posts

Whilst not central, perhaps UCAPS Sandpit would be a good shout. For my fellow Scotsmen its a 4 hour train journey from Glasgow to London, something like £18 quid if you book well in advance. The rest of the UK's major cities have direct trains to London too I'm guessing?

Over on Arnie's forum when they have their annual get together they use the sandpit so I'm sure hiring it for a weekend will be no problem! From what I remember (don't hold me to this its been around a year since I read the thread) theres a pizza place and hotel not too far from it, making non campers and people wanting pizza accommodated for?
