I need to get a couple of CR 123A batteries for my pistol torch.

Apparently they are mainly lithium, although alkaline ones are also available.

I don't want rechargeable batteries but disposable ones.

Which should I buy: lithium or alkaline?

Lithiums

I find I get good life out of the Energizers

Thanks lads.

I got it into my head that the lithium ones must be rechargeable.

I must have been confusing them with aeg lipos.

Thanks again.

I’ve got rechargeable cr123’s, but they seem to die quickly and some have completely died

I buy the cheapest I can find from any UK seller on fleabay , make a point of taking them out after every gameday and I find they do last a good long time for me .

Get friendly with an ADT fitter. They use CR123A's in alarm panels and get given them by the box load...

i just google search and get the best price, one had a load of surefire, then followed Niton999 own versions and recently Panasonic and tbh ive not noticed a lot of difference....just cost
