Not crashing the thread but just get the Fire-Storm for £10 delivered

I recommend the Fire-Storm - even knock up a diy 3034 isn't worth just for one gun

when the Fire-Storm is much more tiny, built in fuse and comes with wire forthe job

Guess you could always contact them to chuck in some deans & 2.8mm motor connectors shrink tubing etc....

(think they should offer this option anyway for a few quid-but suppose most who buy have this already)

If the tech has trouble fitting one - find another tech

Plus the fact that although the Gate has Deans on the Mosfet itself you still need to have them on the batteries and the gun wiring. The Fire Storm will only need the battery connector. One less thing to fail /corrode /cause a high resistance point. And you've done away with connectors to a fuse. Just plugging in a battery and dropping it into a buffer tube is a lot less grief than trying to stuff spaghetti with lumps into a space that's just too small, while under fire. ;)

 
Hope this doesn't come under threadromancy, but I've FINALLY made progress, and hit a couple other problems.

Got the Nano, and I did notice a slight increase in response and rof, shimmed the gearbox to the best of my ability, but recently my team checked all our guns (All stored at a friends house) and she's somehow lost about 100fps since I last chrono'd. I'm opening her up tomorrow to check everything, but I do remember my cylinder head would pop out while using my fingers to check compression. Also, I used the same Teflon grease for my gears and cylinder, is that ok to do?
I'll also be uploading a short video of the sig firing, so you guys can tell me if my shim job sounds bad.

So after all the effort of taking the gun apart and fitting the new part...one of the trigger contacts snapped and both of the connector for the motor fell apart.

Well I'm already too far in to turn back, has anyone got any tips or advice on rewiring a V3 gearbox? Best wire, best connectors, whether a better (if there is one) trigger box would fit/work?
