First AEG and other kit

Got my UKARA number today so I can now finally buy my first AEG! I’ve had some time to research options etc and I have a fairly good idea of what I want to get along with all the assorted extra kit. There’s always cheaper and better options out there so I wanted to post my shopping list to see if you guys have any comments or suggestions.

AEG:

I debated between the Combat machine 2.0 and the specna for a while but decided on the specna as I prefer the ‘normal’ m4 look along with it having more metal parts.

Thanks for the reply! I found that charger on amazon so I'll look at getting it instead. The spec's done mentioned it but i assume it does auto-shutdown?

The difference between the 2 is, the one I sent you is genuine, and the one you posted may not be.

The charger itself will bleep loudly when it is fully charged, so you know it’s done. You should never leave a battery unattended so it doesn’t have an auto shutdown feature.

Might be a blessing, there's been a lot of reports of GunFire having big delays sending orders out.  None for a couple of weeks though, so either they've sorted it, or everyone has given up on them.

I'll find out soon! From what i read the issues were caused by an IT upgrade to the order system going wrong, as someone who works in IT i can kind of give them the benefit of the doubt  as these things can happen.

I ended up making a change to what I bought and went with the SA-B01 instead as it currently has a good £40 discount. I quite wanted the normal length m4 anyway so it's worked out well for me.

On top of that I got a RIS rail to replace the stock handguard:

The guard won't have enough space so I'll have to get a battery along with either a PEQ box or grip that can hold it:
