Feeding problem

My AEG (Marui M16A2) seems to only shoot one bb when I use Emags, anybody know how to make them feed properly?

Are they new Mag's Monty? May just be a case of loading and unloading them a few times to wear the springs in.

Also, if they're not very firm in the magwell you could try a bit of eletrical tape on either side at the top, this usually works to help feeding problems with other magazines.

Failing that, if you're set on Emags and prepared to spend the money you could change your hop unit and see if they feed better with an alternative.

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on anything, still learning myself

Few questions

Stock body? And therefore stock hop?

Pts emags (120rnd) or greenlable/beta project (70rnd) ?

But as above, the pts p/emag springs are REALLY stiff when they're brand new, just load and unload them half a dozen times

I have some of the 7.62 Pmags that don't seem to like feeding in the slightest, yet my high caps work completely fine.

I think the slanted piece that blocks the BBs at the top of the mag, which gets moved by the feedtube once the mag is inserted, is being held under more tension that it needs to be, by a spring that's too strong for the intended purpose. Being where it is, wearing the spring in isn't all that easy, so I'm going to try a new hop unit to see if a different one will push the catch harder or something, or I might take to the very tip of it with sandpaper.

As everyone else has said, loading and uploading continuously for a while might be the best way forward. It certainly can't hurt.

They're really tight in the mag well, no wobble at all. BB's come out of the gun when I remove the mag, but the hop up doesn't look like a regular m4 hop up, it's like this. I've oiled the magazines and loaded/unloaded bb's from the magazines, but it still doesn't feed.

Perhaps they're too tight? I had to put some tape on a magazine for my G&G CM16 to get it to fit, tried the same mag wiith the tape in my G&P m16 and it wouldn't feed.

That hop-up doesn't look like anything I've seen, maybe changing the hop-up unit is what you need to do for it.

Yeah, I'll try to get some better pictures tomorrow, the magazines fit not too tight, but tight enough for them not to wobble too much.

I guess I'll have to buy a new hop up. The current hop up's feeding nozzle is attached to the lower receiver, it's quite a bizarre design for a hop up.

If you look inside the magwell, there are some molded 'ridges' along the sides, filing those down a little should help with the tightness, and may solve the miss feeding.

Your hop is the standard 2part TM hop, and without modding the body, you're kinda stuck with it

So I've found the cause of the problem. It wouldn't feed properly because I wasn't loading enough BB's into the magazines.
