Kinda still on topic but I had double lever arch folders full of ACC recipes, cost a small fortune from GCHQ at St Omar Barracks, my boss at the time was an ex WO2 in the ACC & gifted me his hardback copy printed in 1967 (I think), at some point my Ex-wife threw them both/all out. Made a point of buying another copy a few years ago.
Might not be an interesting or still valid fact but the ACC Catering Manual was/is the only recipe book with recipes in portions of 10 and 50, That crock pot of your pasta is probably a 10 portion recipe
Is that why she became the ex wife?
